FA24, off and running

With the engine off the crank winds down and goes cold, and you get a hand crank to turn it through the 720° cycle. Press the start button and the starter cranks, the engine catches and settles to a 700 rpm idle. Hold to rev opens the throttle for as long as you hold it, up to the 7,500 rpm limiter; cruise holds whatever throttle you are on so you can let go and look around. Slow motion slows the crank you see without changing the revs you read. The tour runs ten chapters on its own. Every piston, rod, cam lobe, valve and combustion event is computed from the real crank geometry and firing order.
